Mobile Commerce Experience Growing
Ralph Lauren is the latest player to enter the world of mobile e-commerce (or m-commerce). The fashion giant has launched a mobile commerce/entertainment portal reflecting its brand values. It’s a different approach to other online sellers such as Amazon, which are entirely retail focused.
A mobile retail outlet, gives sellers a wider market and buyers comptetive choice. Mobile web users can be anywhere and that can help change the commerce dynamics. It’s perfectly viable to now consider that one customer might be in one store whilst directly comparing with a rival via their mobile web browser. Who will get the sale? At a time when every sale counts can any commercial group ignore the potential selling power of the mobile web?
